How to Use the Amazon Account Health Team in an Amazon Appeal

Dealing with Amazon’s Seller Support Team can be a frustrating experience. Sometimes they will reject your appeal without telling you, and other times they will send you the same rejection template, over and over, without being specific on the reasons your plan of action was rejected.  The Account Health Team is the closest one an Amazon seller has to Seller Performance, and you can actually speak with them by phone.
Amazon’s new Account Health Team can only be contacted through Seller Support. This team has access to your appeal history and can often give revealing information on the issues the Seller Performance Team is most concerned about. The bottom line is that this information is often helpful in resolving your appeal issues. They can even give information with regard to specific accounts that have been found to be related to yours in related account issues.

What is the Amazon Account Health Team

The Amazon Account Health Team is a division of Amazon Seller Support who have specific training in how to help sellers with their appeals.  They also have access to records of the Seller Performance Team which will give you an insight on the reason your plan of action was rejected.

How do you Contact the Account Health Team

As everything with Amazon is concerned, this is not such an easy task.  Merely asking Seller Support for a contact with the Account Health Team will result in you receiving a generic email telling you how to create a generic plan of action.  This is not going to help you.  You must be persistent and insist the Account Health Team call you. 
To request a call from Account Health, go into your seller account: 
  • go to "Performance" on the top banner and then Click "Account Health";
  • scroll all the way to the bottom of the Account Health Page and click the "Help" Button in the very bottom left hand corner of the "Account Health" page;
  • click "Check your Account Status";
  • click "Contact us" and leave your phone number for them to call you. 

​MAKE THE MESSAGE VERY SIMPLE: I WOULD LIKE AN ACCOUNT HEALTH REPRESENTATIVE CALL ME TO HELP ME WITH AN APPEAL. Do not put anything else in the message other than a request for a phone call from Account Health and your telephone number.  If you do, you will not get a call, but receive an email template.

Then What do I Do?

When the Account Health rep calls you, take detailed notes of everything that they said and call an expert immediately to update your appeal.
